Warrior Shanghai

Warrior Shanghai is a sports shoe brand that was founded in Shanghai in the 1930s. Sturdy and comfortable is what the brand stands for. In 1932, Shanghai Warrior Shoes Co. Ltd. set up. The fledgling company that produces shoes as a by-product of its parent company, a nationalized rubber manufacturer; commercial rubber is the foundation of the brand's legendary durability. This was the beginning of the first Chinese sports shoe. Sturdy, comfortable and durable, the brand was worn by athletes, politicians, business people, the rich and the poor. At the peak of popularity in 1970, the brand's most successful design, the WB-1 basketball, was created. The timeless design has remained unchanged for the past 40 years, worn over the years from social outcasts to NBA stars.
